My Personal Story With Anxiety

Just like anyone else, I’ve dealt with mental health ever since i graduated from high school. one of the best things I’ve told myself is always express yourself and don’t care about what other people think or say about you. Me growing on up I was a shy kid and I never really liked talking or communicating with anyone, I was in my own bubble and world. I told myself, I have to break out of my shell and express my feelings because if I can’t share how I am feeling then how can I get that help to assist me. Me breaking out of that shell changed the way i look at many things, the things I was scared to do, the things I was afraid to be judged upon doing and one day I told myself and said you only live once dude, who cares what people think express yourself to whom ever if it my parent, my brother, my family, my partner, my friends who ever it was express your feeling to them and be happy with who you are. I feel like once we all hit college or university the fear starts to sit in where we think this is too much for us mentally and we get drained, we fear that we wont succeed, we fear that people are going to judge what we do in life. We shouldn’t we all have dreams and we all deserve to strive and achieve those dreams. no matter the obstacles we face you can always over come them. My story was that I was scared I was going down the wrong path with the wrong people. I was afraid that I wouldn’t achieve my goals, and what I wanted to do with my life. I was scared that my love life was going to end and how id have to deal with that heart break. I was scared with how I can handle work with all this pressure on me. So I looked myself in the mirror and I had a reality check and I told myself who cares lets go out live life and achieve what we want to achieve, cause time heals everything and that one of the biggest advice I can give anyone. Keep yourself busy for me work and playing and watching basketball helps me with what I feel. Find what help relives your stress if you feel like its getting to much talk to someone, anyone and trust me it will help and You will feel like a million bucks.

Mental Health

As we all know one of the biggest issues, we face in our society is mental health and we don’t talk about it much. As we know mental health can happen to anyone at any age but most of time, we see this happen when most people hit there teenage to young adult point in life. We can deal with a lot of it anywhere, it may be cause by school, work, at home, just anything to do with what we do and feel. But no one go through it alone. We all go through tough time and obstacles in life. We all have these bumps and curves on the road to achieve our goals. There is no perfect human in this world and honestly if you were to say there was you be lying cause just like all the people we look up to like Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, Bill Gates, Jennifer Lopez, Justin Trudeau, they all have been through hardship and obstacles to be the person they are today. so you don’t have to worry about being great, you don’t have to worry about making people proud, what matters is your happiness and your life. You are not the only one that deal with mental health, many people do it just depends on how you can get over it, and that relies on what you should do.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
